Brenden Brady loves the outdoors and spends as much time with nature as he can. As humans, it’s important for us to understand that, while landscapes are beautiful and look peaceful and serene, wild animals make these spaces their homes, and we are guests. They don’t always like it when we drop in, as Brenden recently learned. While on a hike in British Columbia, Brenden Brady was on a bridge when suddenly a bear joined him. He caught the interaction on video, and his extremely terrified-looking face.
“Slightly uncomfortable moment during a beautiful sunset @ Bunzten lake in BC Canada,” he wrote. “[I’m] pretty sure that was my opportunity to pet that dawg.”
Brenden Brady Could Have Been the Bear’s Last Meal
Even though the bear walked past Brenden Brady like it was nothing, this could have had a much more gruesome ending. Luckily for him, the bear had an appointment to get to and no time to mess with Brenden. It’s no surprise his video went viral, and people could hardly believe what they saw.
“Proof even men are safer with bears,” someone commented.
Others got into the bear’s head and knew just what he wanted to say to Brenden Brady.
“Bear be like, ‘hey human’ and in his head he’s like, ‘bloody tourists,’” someone suggested.
“Bear probably like ‘pardon me my good fellow. Just on my nightly stroll. Beautiful weather if I do say so myself,’” another person joked.
But some brought Brenden back to reality and let him know just how lucky he was to survive his hike.
“For those saying black bears are chill, they will attack you if they’re hungry. Not as common as a grizzly attack, but you could’ve been lunch Great Breathing and staying conscious btw lol,” they wrote giving Brenden props.
