When it comes to taking care of kids, moms and dads are on equal playing fields. There is no such thing as “babysitting” your own children. When one parent leaves, you’re simply the only one in charge. That’s all there is to it. Be that as it may, sometimes one parent might have a better handle on things in the house than the other. Kids are smart, and they 100% use that to their advantage if they can. For one family, a simple game of hide-and-seek while mom was away turned into a viral moment enjoyed by millions.
It Started as Father/Daughter Hide-And-Seek
Tiffnay Helzer shared the hilarious throwback video on Instagram. Her then 3-year-old daughter, Olivia, was playing hide-and-seek with her dad, Ricky, while Tiffany ran errands. While she was gone, the mom received a text from her husband saying Olivia had locked him in the pantry. Tiffany filmed herself talking to Olivia, then found Ricky sitting on the pantry floor, laughing and having a snack.
When Tiffany opens the door, Ricky looks up at her, laughing and says, “When hide-and-seek goes wrong.”
