Antonio Brown sat in the stands as his nephew, Tyon Newsome, received his diploma from William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Antonio could hardly contain his pride and cried tears of joy. Tyon is the first male on either side of the family to earn a high school diploma. Tyon worked hard to make it happen, even on the most challenging days.

“I almost quit a couple times…I thought I couldn’t do it, I thought it was too hard for me,” Tyon told WLTV, but he persevered.

Antonio Brown Posted His Reaction Video Online Never Expecting the Response

The uncle told WLTV that Tyon’s graduation was an important moment for generations in his family. “Seeing him get to finish it and complete it the right way, that really meant a lot to me,” Antonio said.

Antonio’s video received incredible feedback from strangers.

“Proud unc mom. My nephew 17 and graduating from Raines. He’s the first male to walk across that stage to get his diploma in my immediate family on both sides. I’m happy for my boi,” he wrote in the caption.

People couldn’t help but share the love for Tyon’s huge accomplishment.

“Lord who cutting onions,” someone joked. “Got me messing up my lashes! Congratulationsss baby you have broken the curse this is AWESOME!!!”

“Praise God he broken the curse and now many will follow after him In you family. It is not too late for you to get your ged or diploma. Seek God for answers and it’s a great thing to see older men inspiring young men to greatness. Those are tears of joy and respect for your nephew accomplishments,” another person added.
