Jay Jefferies is the chief meteorologist at Fox 59 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Viewers love his sweet demeanor and fun approach to the weather. They also love Jay’s zest for daily life. He went viral not too long ago because of his reaction during a live broadcast. Jay stood on a patch of grass near a busy road and tried to get people to honk at him, just like little kids do. “I was surrounded by dump truck drivers as a child & going to school every morning, the bus would cross path with many I knew (the quarry wasn’t far). They would always ignore kids doing that out of the window for safety reasons but if they saw me out the window asking for it, honk honk they went!! The bus driver eventually figured out it was me & I got called to the principal’s office,” they wrote.
