In February 2025, country singer Nat Myers thought he had a lung infection. Unfortunately, doctors later diagnosed him with stage 4 intimal sarcoma. It is both rare and aggressive, but the 35-year-old will not let cancer ruin his life or take away his music. Instead, he’s keeping his music with him. The 35-year-old musician shared a video on Instagram recently, along with a message.

“I don’t always bring my guitar to treatment, partially cuz I just want to sleep through the askewness chemo puts on you. But when I wrote 2nd Daddy I sure had to. I couldn’t stop, and still can’t stop playing it,” he wrote.

Nat Myers Thanked Fans for Keeping Him in Their Prayers

Even though Nat Myers was hooked up to chemo, the music flowed.

“Y’all really ginned me up on this hospo take. Made a hard day more sustainable, made some hard months a little easier. I gotta lotta friends among strangers, and you can count me family. Thanks for helping me get through some of those humps. So I put this hospital take of 2nd Daddy today, on the eve of my new scans. Wish me luck. After this, I’m gonna work on coming out with a proper record. Thank you for the support, and prayers, I got plenty of em for now—now, gimme your blues. I sure ain’t hesitating to give you mine,” he wrote.

Fans loved seeing Nat Myers making the best of a really tough situation.

“I’m praying for you brother, we need you here with us a long while more,” a fan wrote.

This person called in a special favor for Nat. “I used my birthday candle wish for your scans to be best they can, and for the blues, I gave my fav record of yours away to a friend, so I’ll wait a bit till you come around to get a new one,” they wrote.

“im not religious but i think heaven gave you that voice,” another fan wrote.
