Costco is quietly expanding its food court menu with a new chicken strips meal, and fans can’t wait to try it.

While the big-box store hasn’t officially announced its new addition, it has been popping up on select menus across the country. A fan in Schaumburg, IL, posted a video of the menu on TikTok, writing, “My local Costco has Chicken Tenders now? Didn’t try yet, have you tried them?!”

The post showed a five-piece breaded chicken tender deal with an unnamed dipping sauce priced at $6.99, and it quickly went viral.

In the comments, one shopper admitted that he tried the chicken nuggets and noted that, “They are so massive.”

“I’m 180 and 2 was enough lol,” he added. “Can just share it with someone. Sauce was pretty good.”

One shopper noted that the nuggets “are better than canes.” And another said, “They are amazing!!!!”

According to TastingTable, Costco chicken nuggets have been available in Canada and Australia for some time. A few commenters mentioned that they’d had the meal while traveling internationally, and they thought they were delicious.

While the reviews were solid among people who’d actually tasted the chicken nuggets, dozens of people were concerned for two reasons. The first was that the chicken nuggets seem to be replacing the famous calzone, and the second was that they contain a staggering 1640 calories.
